Handcrafted walnut dining table

Built by hand · Made for living

Not just a table.
Your table.

One-of-one hardwood tables, thoughtfully made to gather around for decades.

Furniture with a pulse

The room changes
when the right table arrives.

We build honest, enduring pieces around your space and your people, not a factory template. Every grain, edge, and proportion is considered.

Beyond the dining room

One workshop.
Plenty of possibility.

Tables are the destination, but the same care shows up in every commission, from statement furniture to meaningful gifts.

Buzzwood workshop

Made slowly. Lived with fully.

Built by a maker
who thinks like an engineer.

Buzzwood Creations is Jeremy Peters in the shop, solving real problems with real wood. Every table starts with the way your room works, how your family actually lives, and the details that make a piece feel like it belongs.

I care about the quiet engineering behind beautiful furniture: stable joinery, smart proportions, durable finishes, honest pricing, and the small decisions that keep a table useful for decades.

Good questions, honest answers

Before we
build anything.

Every custom project starts with a few unknowns. These are the questions that help most people move forward.

How much room should I leave around a dining table?

Allow at least 36 inches from the table edge to walls or furniture. Where people regularly walk behind seated guests, 42 to 48 inches is more comfortable. The sizing guide in the builder calculates both.

Is the builder price a final quote?

No. It is a planning estimate based on common sizes and options. Your final quote reflects exact lumber, edge profile, base details, sourced chairs, delivery, installation, and any special requests.

Can you build a size or style that is not in the builder?

Yes. The builder covers useful starting points, not the limits of the shop. Extensions, uncommon dimensions, alternate species, special bases, engraving, and other custom ideas can be discussed in your inquiry.

Do you make the chairs?

Chairs are sourced rather than built in-house. Buzzwood can assemble them and finish them to coordinate with your table, including matching stain or a two-tone finish.

What wood is best for a family dining table?

White oak and maple are especially hard-wearing; walnut offers rich color and beautiful movement; red oak is strong, warm, and value-conscious. The right choice balances appearance, budget, and how your household uses the table.

Do you deliver outside Massachusetts?

Local delivery is the natural starting point. Share your location in the inquiry and we can talk through what is practical for your project, including delivery, assembly, or pickup.
